If to reach enlightenment is to make connection with your inner self, and is the highest form of wisdom, why does it happen to the raving mad or those who brush with death ~ If you truly connect with your inner self while in a near death state does that mean a unity is formed when death is met, or simply you become that of your inner self and shed that of this world entirely ~ If that which is after death is a period to which you wait for a reincarnation than meeting death between is to meet or become that of pure wisdom? ~ Why then do I play out this farce deemed life if that which is all that i have been striving for is so close to mine hands, could one bullet be my guide to that which is true ecstasy then bring me to another life enlightened? Or am I truly mad and enlightened and cannot draw a moment of clarity to realize it ~
